How to extract ZIP or RAR files with WinRAR

Download WinRAR

First, let’s download WinRAR.

Step 1: Go to https://win-rar.com/.

Step 2: Now, You will see the website of WinRAR. Click on the download button.

Step 3: Now, You will see a new webpage where it’s saying to buy WinRAR or download WinRAR. If you buy, it gives you some more features or else you can download it. Click on download to download it.

Step 4: Now, You will see a new webpage is opened and a file is starting to download. You can easily install WinRAR. Only You have to open the file then you have to do some settings, and then it will install on your device. If you don’t know how to install it, you can search on YouTube.

Now, After installing it, Let’s know how to use it.

Extract Files using WinRAR

Now, Let’s know how to extract zip or rar files using WinRAR.

Step 1: Right-click on a .zip or .rar file which you want to extract.

Step 2: If WinRAR is installed, it will show you some options ‘ Open with WinRAR ‘, ‘ Extract files… ‘, ‘ Extract Here ‘, ‘ Extract to “[file-name]\” ‘.

Step 3: If you want to extract it to a folder, click on the last option ‘ Extract to “[file-name]\” ‘. Or if you want that all the files present in it extract there, click on ‘Extract Here’ option. I want to extract the files in that location/path, so I will click on ‘Extract Here’ option.

Now, You will see the files present in the RAR or ZIP file will extract to that location or path.
